The "footprint" is sized to fit on the small burner, which can be an advantage in using less energy. But the flip pour-top is very difficult to open. It's almost impossible to hold the handle and press the pour-top open with the same hand. The amount of pressure one must exert to flip the top makes it very hard for someone with arthritis, or for anyone to safely open the top without upsetting the kettle or brushing against the side. |
